150 PermaNet® donated on Africa Malaria Day

This year's Africa Malaria Day was celebrated in Kenya in Kitui District of Eastern Province.

| It was a high profile event with all the top officials from the Ministry of Health, UNICEF and WHO in attendance, including the Hon’ Minister Charity Ngilu and WHO representative Peter Eriki. |

| The event began with a parade through the town led by nursing students holding an ‘Africa Malaria Day’ banner, some of them wearing PermaNet® t-shirts. |
|
| The parade ended in a stadium where the dignitaries made speeches. The Minister mentioned the planned distribution of 3.4 million LLINs this year. |
|
| The event concluded with the Minister distributing free nets, especially to Women with children. Most of the nets were PermaNet® - 150 of these were donated by Vestergaard Frandsen. |
