LifeStraw™ wins the prestigious INDEX: 2005 Award

Vestergaard Frandsen's LifeStraw™ participated in INDEX: 2005 and won the first prize for its innovative design.
INDEX is a world event for design and innovation that takes place in Copenhagen every four years. INDEX Awards features the kind of designs that considerably improve life for large number of people.
The theme of the design competition was "Designs which improve Life". There were five categories: Body, Home, Play, Work and Community. Among the 118 top designs that had been selected from hundreds of nominees from around the world, there were only five winners - one from each category. Vestergaard Frandsen is delighted to receive the first prize under the category "Body" for LifeStraw™.
