Africa Outside Edge - Mali update - November 2007
| Mali was a great Africa Outside Edge expedition success. PermaNet® were distributed several areas of the malaria-stricken nation, including to isolated villages in the 20 000 sq km inland Niger River Delta using large inflatable boats. This incredible journey then ended in mystical Timbuktu. On the poorer outskirts of the capital Bamako, 500 PermaNet® were distributed to schools and clinics in need. Sidiki Doucoure, Vestergaard Frandsen's local agent was a great help in the operation, coordinating the PermaNet® contribution and assuring the nets arrived on time. |

| From Mali the expedition will make its way back to Conakry where it will be working with local Vestergaard Frandsen agent Sekou Cisse and the Ministry of Health. |
|
| The Vestergaard Frandsen-sponsored Africa Outside Edge expedition continues with the dedication and determination necessary to complete their lifesaving humanitarian journey. It is undoubtedly the most exciting expedition for malaria prevention in the history of the disease. |
